Planning your ceremony

A Celebrant wedding ceremony gives you the opportunity to have a truly unique occasion. Maybe you already have some ideas about what you have in mind. If you aren't sure I can help with some inspiration to make sure you have a memorable and enjoyable day.

The format of your ceremony can be religious or non religious. Your ceremony can take place wherever you want, maybe you have a favorite place in mind, a special venue, a park, or even the beach! There aren't really any limits. 

Together we can create your unique ceremony that will reflect your love story and your hopes and dreams for the future. We can incorporate any traditions and beliefs that are important to you, or pretty much anything. You might want to involve your family, friends and children in the Ceremony, in a way that is meaningful.

First meeting

At our first meeting we will talk about your ideas, and your hopes and dreams for your big day. A will take some time to find out about you, and we can talk about ideas for your ceremony. We can talk about any additional rituals you might want to consider.

I can give you some ideas for vows, readings and poems. Following on from this meeting you can then decide if you would like to continue with a booking. I then ask for payment of a deposit. After this I will start to prepare the first draft script for your ceremony.

Your ceremony script

I will send you an initial draft script for your ceremony. This details what will happen and what will be said, and who will be talking. It is important that your script reflects your wishes and is just the way you want. We might need to make several revisions until you are happy. You can make as many revisions as you like.

You also get your own access to your client portal area, where you can view your scripts, and a library of resources including poems and readings, plus your ceremony contract and details of payments made.

The ceremony day

On the day I will officiate at your ceremony. I will conduct your ceremony in a relaxed, interesting and fun way. I want you and your guests to enjoy the day and take away fond memories.

I will present your ceremony in accordance with the script we have agreed. You and your witnesses can sign a commemorative certificate to mark the occasion.

I will also give you a presentation script that you can keep as a memory of your day.
